Nothing like celebrating the 70th anniversary of the San Sebastian International Film Festival with an exhibition at Tabakalera!
Imagine a festival… those were the words heard in one of the first meetings, by one of its founders. These words are an example of the enthusiasm with which a project of such magnitude was started. Nothing is impossible!
The twisting red carpet guides us through the centre of contemporary art in San Sebastian, where we learn more about the origin and evolution of the film festival during its past editions.
One of the aspects that I liked the most and that caught my attention is that it is not only an exhibition that pays tribute to the people who have made the festival possible, the directors, the stars. The spectators also play a leading role in the exhibition, after all, the event would be meaningless without them.

Imagina un festival… fueron las palabras que se pudieron escuchar en unas de las primeras reuniones, por parte de uno de sus fundadores. Dichas palabras son ejemplo de la ilusión con la que se comenzó un proyecto de tal magnitud. ¡Nada es imposible!

Uno de los aspectos que más me ha gustado y llamado la atención es que no se trata solamente de una exposición que homenajea a las personas que han hecho posible el festival, los directores, las estrellas. Los espectadores también cobran protagonismo en la muestra, al fin y al cabo el evento carecería de sentido sin ellos.
