Just about 20 km from San Sebastian lies the longest beach in the Basque Country, the beach of Zarautz.

The first thing that catches the eye as you stroll along its promenade is the colourful row of awnings resembling bathing huts, inevitably evoking times gone by. It is a scorching summer day and both bathers and surfers venture out in search of their so desired patch of sand and water.

A tan solo 20 km de San Sebastián se halla la playa más extensa de Euskadi, la playa de Zarautz.

Lo primero que llama la atención al pasear por su malecón es la colorida hilera de toldos a modo de casetas de baño, que evocan inevitablemente tiempos pasados. Es un caluroso día de verano y tanto bañistas como surfistas se aventuran a la búsqueda de su tan deseado trozo de arena y agua.
